Did you set the destination address of both boards to the address of the other boards?

Yes this should work
You can also find a lot of information on this pairing process on the internet.

Well, it doesn't seem to work...

Strange thing is when I try the 'range test' in x-ctu and start both, the transfer seems to be successful. But with the gluonpilot no luck.

By the way I'm using the latest firmware. Does that still work at 57600?

Yes it is still 57600

Do you have 2 XBee adapter boards? Does that work? (using a terminal program or the XBee tool)

I've noticed that the orange LED only comes on when plugged into the gluonpilot, not when via USB.

I have two xbee adapter boards, one with a mini usb and big antenna, the other with ftdi and wire antenna.

If i plug them both into laptops and try the range test in x-ctu, it works - successful transfers.

It must be something to do with my gluonpilot board/firmware setup.

There only needs to be 4 wires from xbee to gluonpilot, right?
